About Me

Hi, I'm Leti - the hands and heart behind TEJIDA.I'm a lifelong maker, mamá, and memory keeper on a journey of reconnection - with my creativity, my culture, and myself.After years of sewing custom designs and raising two incredible daughters, I realized what I truly longed for wasn't just productivity, but purpose - to create from a place of joy, not hustle. TEJIDA was born from that shift: a space where I could weave together slow crafting, healing, and cultural storytelling.I'm proudly Mexican - my roots trace back to Jilotepec and Puebla - but my inspiration reaches across the whole Latine community. As a mother of mixed-heritage daughters, I'm constantly learning, unlearning, and rethreading what identity, resilience, and legacy look like for us.Sewing helped me reclaim my joy, quiet my anxiety, and remember who I am. Now, through TEJIDA, I offer that same invitation to you: to slow down, stitch with heart, and craft a life that holds your whole story.

Hola, soy Leti - las manos y el corazón detrás de TEJIDA.Soy una creadora de toda la vida, mamá y guardiana de memorias, en un camino de reconexión: con mi creatividad, mi cultura y conmigo misma.Después de años cosiendo diseños personalizados y criando a dos hijas increíbles, me di cuenta de que lo que realmente buscaba no era solo ser productiva, sino crear con propósito - desde la alegría, no desde la prisa. TEJIDA nació desde ese cambio: un espacio donde se entrelazan la costura lenta, la sanación y las historias culturales.Soy mexicana - con raíces en Jilotepec y Puebla - pero mi inspiración cruza toda la comunidad latina. Como madre de hijas de herencia mixta, estoy constantemente aprendiendo, desaprendiendo y retejiendo lo que significan la identidad, la resiliencia y el legado.La costura me ayudó a recuperar mi alegría, calmar mi ansiedad y recordar quién soy. Y ahora, a través de TEJIDA, te ofrezco esa misma invitación: a bajar el ritmo, coser con corazón y crear una vida que honre toda tu historia.
